Link your email and calendar to Backhouse

Backhouse works best when it's connected to the tools you already use.

Available integrations

  • Google Workspace. One connection covers Gmail and Google Calendar. Backhouse monitors your inbox, drafts replies for your review, and schedules showings, consultations, and closings on your calendar.

Outlook and Microsoft 365 aren't supported yet. If that's your setup, reach out and we'll let you know when it's ready.

How to connect

  1. Go to Settings > Connected tools
  2. Click Connect next to Google Workspace
  3. Follow the authorization flow, you'll be redirected to sign in with your Google account
  4. Once connected, Backhouse will start syncing automatically

Permissions

Backhouse only requests the permissions it needs. For email, it reads incoming messages and prepares drafts, it never sends anything without you. For calendar, it creates and updates events when you ask it to schedule something, and checks your availability when finding a time. You can disconnect at any time from the same page.
